People on the Move: Dr. Don Levis

The University of Nebraska has reassigned Dr. Don Levis to a Professor of Animal Science and Extension Swine Specialist position located at the University of Nebraska Haskell Agricultural Laboratory near Concord, Neb. He will be conducting research on growing-finishing pigs and educational programs related to swine reproduction, alternative pork production systems, and housing and management of growing-finishing pigs. During the previous two years, Dr. Levis was working as a UNL Extension Educator for Saunders County and surrounding region on educational projects related primarily to cow-calf management and 4-H youth development. He is pleased to be back spending 100% of his time working on state, regional and national swine related research and educational projects.
