People on the Move: Dr. Steve Tousignant
Dr. Steve Tousignant has accepted a position as the Director of the Swine Business Unit at Newport Laboratories, effective January 31st. For the past five years, he has been employed as a Key Account Veterinarian at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc. Dr. Tousignant received his DVM from the University of Minnesota in 2011, and his PhD in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota in 2015. OBITUARY – Dr. Ralph Vinson, Jr.
AASV was saddened to learn of the passing of current and charter member of AASP/V Dr. Ralph Vinson. Dr. Vinson served as president of the association in 1978, received the Swine Practitioner of the Year award in 1980. He gave the Howard Dunne Memorial Lecture in 1986.
