People on the Move: Dr. Elizabeth Noblett

Dr. Elizabeth Noblett recently began work in a Herd Veterinarian position with Smithfield Foods based out of Laurinburg, North Carolina. Dr. Noblett is a North Carolina native and 2020 DVM graduate of NC State University. Previously, she served as a Herd Vet with The Maschhoffs based out of Carlyle, Illinois. Position Announcement: Senior Swine Veterinarian (Veterinarian II)

Tyson Foods Inc, the world’s largest protein producer and the second-largest food production company in the Fortune 500, is looking for a Senior Veterinarian to join our Pork Group Technical Services team. The Pork Group Senior Veterinarian (Veterinarian II) is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and improvement of its swine herd health, improving the production performance of the swine herd through better environment management and training, oversight of biosecurity, risk management, and disease elimination programs. This includes consulting with all levels of swine management concerning preventative and therapeutic medicine, educating Team Members on animal husbandry, physiology, environment, and animal growth, and ensuring compliance with all agricultural regulations concerning health eradication programs and animal movement.
